This first release of our Rocking Z Zinfandel shows the great promise and potential of this hillside vineyard with its well drained gravelly loam soil and vines grafted to the Cloverdale Church heritage clone. A deep rich color, good structure and balance, and forward aromas and flavors of berries and spice are on full display in this limited production, 100% Zinfandel, from California's premier growing region for this quintessential California variety.
